IEEE WCNC 2011 FINAL PAPER SUBMISSION GUIDELINES


In order for your paper to be in the conference proceedings and IEEE Xplore you need to complete these four steps:
1. Revise your Paper
2. Check your paper with IEEE PDF eXpress
3. Register for the conference with payment
4. Submit your copyright transfer
5. Upload the Final Version of your paper in EDAS

1. REVISE YOUR PAPER
Please read the reviews of your paper and follow the reviewers' recommendations for revising it and preparing the final version. When you are done with the revision, please print out your paper and carefully proof read it. The final manuscript must NOT contain page numbers.

Your final manuscript should
  • Have no page numbers and no headers/footers
  • Use a non-zero PDF top and bottom margins (typically, at least 0.5 inches) to help indicate if there are any page numbers

2. CHECK YOUR PAPER WITH IEEE PDF eXpress - IEEE PDF eXpress has been made available (http://www.pdf-express.org) for checking the IEEE Xplore compatibility of PDF files and provide assistance to authors to correct problems with their files. The conference ID is wcnc11x This tool must be used before uploading the papers.


3. REGISTER FOR THE CONFERENCE
You MUST register for the conference with payment before you can upload your paper. You will need your Registration Code (confirmation). If you are submitting your registration by Fax please allow at least 3 business days for your registration to be processed before you will receive your code by e-mail

IEEE and IEEE COMMUNICATIONS SOCIETY POLICIES
To be published in the IEEE WCNC 2011 Conference Proceedings and IEEE Xplore®, at least one Author of an accepted paper is required to register for the conference at the FULL Rate (R01, R02 or R03) and the paper must be presented at the conference. Non refundable registration fees must be paid prior to uploading the final IEEE formatted, publication ready version of the paper.

For authors with multiple accepted papers, one full registration is valid for up to three (3) papers.

Accepted and presented papers will be published in the IEEE WCNC 2011 Conference Proceedings and in IEEE Xplore®.

IEEE reserves the right to exclude a paper from distribution after the conference (e.g., removal from IEEE Xplore) if the paper is not presented at the conference.

It is imperative, that the same author upload the paper(s), review, and approved PDFs, and submit copyright form. (Only one e-mail address can be identified to a registration code).

When you are done with the registration, you will be given a Registration Code, which will be needed to upload your paper in the following step. PLEASE DO NOT SHARE YOUR REGISTRATION CONFIRMATION CODE WITH ANYONE ELSE.


4. IEEE COPYRIGHT FORM
Before you upload your Final Paper paper, you will need to submit your IEEE copyright form using the IEEE electronic copyright mechanism. Please follow the link provided on the EDAS paper submission page.


5. UPLOAD YOUR PAPER
Your Final paper must be uploaded in EDAS by received by EXTENDED TO: Thursday 13 January 2011 23:59 EST for it to be in the proceedings.

Remember that the maximum page length is 6 pages, IEEE WCNC is not accepting any papers that are longer than 6 pages.  The final manuscript must NOT contain page numbers.

To submit your Final Paper paper, please go to EDAS, click on the “My Papers” button, and then upload your paper on the link provided. DO NOT go to Papers/Submit paper, since you will not find IEEE WCNC 2011 there.
